Local catering supplier ICS has partnered with Liverpool Gin to supply bespoke glassware.
The firm’s first order was supplying 10,000 specially toughened Kwarx glasses to Liverpool Gin, made for World Gin Day held at St Georges Hall.
Director of ICS, Matthew Dodgson said:
“Over recent years we’ve been building strong relationships with some of the city’s major hotel chains, restaurants and brands, acting as a preferred supplier on catering and cleaning supplies. The new contract with Liverpool Gin, a company which has seen huge success over the last year, is a great win for us and we are looking forward to working with them in the future.”
Liverpool Gin is a premium organic product made from scratch using only pure certified organic botanicals, producing a distinctive, aromatic drink. In the last year the brand has quickly established itself as a favourite choice for gin drinkers in the North of England.
In its prime as the world’s largest port, Liverpool once had its own gin akin to London, Bristol or Plymouth and the fruity, aromatic recipe of Liverpool Gin resembles that of the original gin made in the city.
John O’Dowd the Head Distiller for Liverpool Gin said:
“Working with key local suppliers like ICS we are building the Liverpool Gin brand and ensuring that our success also benefits that of other local businesses in the city.”
ICS are based in a former tea factory in Brasenose Road, Bootle and supply bespoke catering and cleaning products to businesses regionally and nationally.
