20 lots under the hammer at Wirral property auction

Wirral property firm Smith and Sons reveals details of next Wirral property auction

20 lots will be on offer at the Smith and Sons property auction

Smith and Sons will hold its next Wirral property auction on Wednesday, May 17. It includes 20 properties, the majority of which are “ripe for upgrade and modernisation”.

There are several homes available in Wirral, set at realistic guides to reflect the level of works needed to bring them up to date. There are also a number of commercial lots that provide strong yields, some with living accommodation above.

A double fronted three-bedroom bungalow in Moreton has been empty for many years. Due to its large garden it provides potential to extend to a purchasers own requirements either for sale or for owner occupation.

A four-bedroom semi-detached property in Thingwall also offers a refurbishment opportunity offered at a guide price of £200,000 to £220,000 having recently been marketed at £270,000.

Other houses guided at between £60,000 and £70,000 with refurbishment projects offering good investment and resale potential.

Chris Johnson, Auctioneer at Smith and Sons, said: “While this isn’t a huge auction in terms of lots available, those that are listed present significant scope to upgrade and add value.

“We’ve had lots of interest in this auction and expect to see plenty of bidding on the day.

All lots can be viewed online at www.smithandsons.net and viewings are now under way. For final viewings and to register to bid, contact Annette Shelley on aas@smithandsons.net
