Award-winning design agency black&ginger has launched a London studio in Soho’s Beak Street. The office will complement its existing operation in Liverpool’s Baltic Quarter.
The business, which has recently completed a TV commercial for dashcam firm Nextbase, will service a variety of national clients from its new base in the heart of the capital.
Founded by Alex Frech in 2004, the design studio has worked with brands as diverse as Slazenger, Vogue, Kilner Jars, kitchen brand Typhoon and the NHS. Locally, it also works with the John Moores Exhibition, Liverpool Vision, the Liverpool Food and Drink Festival and Chester Zoo.
The business has also recently developed cookbook-style promotional materials for ACC Liverpool’s recently launched facility, Exhibition Centre Liverpool, in collaboration with Centerplate UK.
Prior to setting up black&ginger, Alex Frech worked at creative agency Leagas Delaney.
Discussing the launch of the firm’s London workspace, Alex Frech, CEO of black&ginger, commented:
“We have always dreamed of having a base in London, but up until now haven’t had any specific need for it.
“However as we’re now working with more and more national businesses, having a presence in the capital is becoming increasingly crucial. Having this office in the capital will help to give us a real competitive edge and enable us to really broaden our client base and start the next phase in our growth.
“We’ve achieved a great deal in our first decade, and can’t wait to see what the next one brings.”
