Liverpool-based Signature Living has revealed plans for an exclusive rooftop gym at newly acquired 60 Old Hall Street.
The gym, which will be housed inside a glass box structure, will also contain an outdoor running track for visitors to use whilst enjoying panoramic views of Liverpool’s commercial district.
The firm acquired the property, once named the “ugliest building on Old Hall Street”, in November last year.
The development will contain residential space, serviced apartments, office space and a ground floor retail unit.
The project is the first time the firm has entered the office market having previously developed a string of high-end hotels and serviced apartments in the city such as Grade II listed 30 James Street and the Shankly Hotel.
Signature Living says the rooftop gym, which will be exclusive to members, will be hugely popular when completed.
Lawrence Kewnright, co-founder of Signature Living, added:
” 60 Old Hall Street’s rooftop gym is set to become a landmark destination – this once ugly duckling is being transformed into an impressive attraction, which will boast stunning views across Liverpool’s commercial district. We are radically transforming the building and I think its features such as this which will make it popular with visitors. This development is yet another milestone in Signature Living’s ambitious plans for 2016.”
