Accountancy firm MHA Moore and Smalley has appointed a new senior tax manager at its Liverpool office
Michael Court is a new senior tax manager at MHA Moore and Smalley in Liverpool. Joining the firm from Jackson Stephen.
He will advise businesses, entrepreneurs, and high-net-worth individuals, supporting them to manage their tax affairs. This will include family wealth succession planning. It is the second senior tax appointment at the Liverpool office in as many months. In April Tony Reddin joined as tax partner.
Michael, who lives in Formby, spent two years at Jackson Stephen as senior tax manager. He was at Grant Thornton in Liverpool for six years prior to this. He said: “Every day I see great examples of entrepreneurial Liverpool businesses growing through innovation, determination and sheer hard work.
“I’m looking forward to working with the owners of these businesses in my new role with MHA Moore and Smalley, helping them to continue creating jobs and promoting economic activity.”
He is a graduate of Loughborough University and a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation and the Association of Taxation Technicians. Michael is a keen runner having taken part in three marathons.”
Tony Reddin added: “Michael is adept at guiding clients through the complexities of the UK tax system. He is particularly experienced in helping business owners look after their personal tax affairs.”
