Alternative Futures Group (AFG) has been shortlisted in two categories for the LaingBuisson Awards 2015.
The awards organised by LaingBuisson aim to highlight achievement across the independent healthcare sector in the UK.
AFG, which supports more than 1200 people with learning disabilities and mental health needs every year across the North West, is hoping for success in the category for best Mental Health Hospital provider for its work at Lea Court in Warrington and for Mike Smith, Director of Quality & Performance, who has been shortlisted in the Outstanding Contribution category.
Neil Campbell, chief executive of AFG said:
“We’re proud of our record of delivering positive outcomes for people we support across the region.
“To be shortlisted is great recognition and is a real boost to the organisation and the dedicated people who work for us.
“These awards give recognition to some of the pioneering projects and individuals around the country and we’re delighted to be involved and to help highlight them.”
The Awards will be held on 11th November at the London Lancaster Hotel.
