Ameriesko launches on Bold Street and champions independent city businesses

Liverpool says goodbye to Central Perk and welcomes Ameriesko, as the Bold Street and Hatton Garden cafes are taken over and re-launched.

The brainchild of owner Steven Hesketh, the new Ameriesko Liverpool brand combines American interior styling & flavour with a distinctly Liverpool personality.

Liverpool’s Joe Blacks has helped create two unique coffee blends – The Brooklyn Blend (mild, easy drinking) and the Yankee Blend (stronger blend) and renowned Dafna’s Cheesecake Factory will be on the menu too, making one of Smithdown Road’s finest treats available in a city centre outlet for the first time.

The Bold Street café reopens after a week-long refurbishment and also includes a new basement event space with pool table and a late license, to provide the perfect place for open mic nights, private events and parties and more.

Steven Hesketh said:

“It’s the right time to give Liverpool something much more independent and local, rather than an American franchise. Ameriesko Liverpool celebrates everything that makes Liverpool such a vibrant and unique city and hopes to find some musical and comical talent over time – whilst celebrating American TV Sitcoms and classic American music too.

“We’ve hand-picked Liverpool suppliers to champion the city’s best coffee and cakes independents, and merged this to add some American classics – rollover hot dogs, Fries and Nachos along with our freshly made sandwiches – we’ve got a fabulous team of people who are passionate about delivering the best service and we’re in two strong locations, putting us at the heart of the city’s shopping, business and student districts. Liverpool is at the heart of the Ameriesko offering and experience.”

Other café firsts at the Bold Street site include the arrival of a pool table, TV sitcom memorabilia wall including cast signings from Sex and the City, Homeland and Breaking Bad and Liverpool’s first ‘city in a frame’, so customers can take Ameriesko inspired photos as they relax.

Steven, who also operates The Richmond Hotel on Hatton Garden added:

“We’re marking our first two weeks as Ameriesko Liverpool with plenty of special offers, promotions and give-aways and will be inviting lots of local businesses to come and say hello.

“If it’s a real taste of Liverpool life you’re after, with the best teas, coffees and cakes and a relaxed vibe, then you should head to Ameriesko Liverpool. It’s what we’re all about.”

Refurbishment of the Hatton Garden café is almost complete, ready for reopening on  Friday 29th January.
