Severfield steel have been appointed as the steelwork contractor for the expansion of Anfield football ground’s Main Stand in a contract win worth £43 million.
Severfield will be supporting Carillion in their work to expand the Anfield Main Stand, helping them to add an additional 8,500 seats to being the overall capacity of the stadium to 54,000. The project is scheduled for completion by the end of 2016.
Five other contracts have been awarded to Severfield, including three commercial office developments in London, a waste-to-energy plant in Dublin, and a major distribution centre in the Midlands.
