A centre for small businesses in Warrington has been refurbished and renamed with facilities aimed sole trader entrepreneurs and small businesses.

Developer Equinox Properties acquired the former Bank Quay House in Sankey Street at the end of 2017 and embarked on a full refurbishment and modernisation programme.

Now renamed ‘The Outset’, the 26,000 sq ft building offers space by the day, week or month starting from only £10 a day, advancing to £40 a week or £150 a month. Serviced offices start from £190 per desk and leased space is also available.

The ground floor entrance has undergone a complete transformation. The lobby now hosts the independent ‘Outset Cafe,’ along with new serviced office spaces and the co-working which includes meeting and telephone pods.

Elsewhere all of the tea points have been replaced along with the toilet facilities and all communal areas.

Daniel Jebreel managing director of Equinox Properties, said: “We were focused on creating a beautifully-designed space with a really unique personality. One of our key aims is to facilitate community and networking in the building through regular events.

“We feel that we have created an environment that will help our tenants to foster their best work – whether it’s a single person start up in our co working space, a serviced office client, or a larger leased tenant.”

The Outset will officially launch at 12.30 on March 22 when local MP Faisal Rashid will cut the ribbon. Equinox commissioned Standing Space and Sheila Bird to undertake the interior design and the fit out was undertaken by Adept Retail Solutions.
