Merseyside air-conditioning and ventilation supplier, Everkool, says it has had a record start to 2021 with a surge in demand for its services.

The Bootle-based business, led by chief executive Craig Greenwood, is a leading provider of air-conditioning, refrigeration and ventilation products and support services across the North West.

And, in a new deal, the company has been appointed by Knowsley Council to service and maintain air-conditioning and ventilation systems across its properties for the next three years.

Everkool also supplies a number of bars and restaurants with refrigeration and ventilation products and has recently picked up a string of new contracts as the leisure industry prepares for the easing of lockdown restrictions.

Mr Greenwood said: “The past year has been incredibly tough for most businesses but I am delighted with our strong start to the year. We have won a variety of major new contracts and we are working with the food and drinks industry to get any venues ready for reopening.

“We are absolutely delighted to secure the Knowsley Council tender, this has been a massive vote of confidence in our business. It is important also as it allows us to recruit further and create more opportunities for local people within the Merseyside region.

“Throughout the lockdown, we worked hard to keep our business strong and we are very optimistic about the future. We’ve had a record start to the year despite the backdrop of the COVID-19 pandemic.”
