Heavyweight boxer David Price, who delivered a knock out blow to opponent Irineu Costa in Berlin on Saturday, prepared for his big fight with a little help from new Liverpool restaurant Amanzi.
The Water Street venue prepared a series of protein packed dishes for the boxing star in the build up to his latest heavyweight outing.
A favourite dish of the Kirby-born boxer was the 20oz sirloin steak, which he tucked into shortly before flying out to the German capital for his fight.
Amanzi co-owenr Riad Erraji, who is soon to expand the Amanzi brand throughout the UK, said:
“I think our menu certainly helped get David ready to deliver his knockout blow on Saturday. The Amanzi menu is perfect for him. We’ve got an amnzing range of mouthwatering fish and meat dishes which David enjoyed in the build up to his fight. I look forward to welcoming him back for a celebratory dinner very soon.”
