A host of Brazilian dancers will take to Albert Dock’s PANAM on July 14 to perform samba routines in colourful costumes.

The winner will be decided by a team of judges facing the task of narrowing down the many carnival hopefuls to just one queen.

Last year’s winner Paris will pass her carnival crown onto the queen of 2017.

The winner will then be at the very forefront of the night time Carnival Parade. The parade will give festival goers and passersby an opportunity to taste the real flavours of Brazil with bands from across the UK and overseas performing on the streets of Liverpool.
