Having graduated from the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology with a BSc Hons in Mathematics and Management Sciences, Jonathan began his career at KPMG where he worked his way up from auditing to corporate restructuring and recovery.
Jonathan then became an investment analyst following the support services sector before moving to Hewden, a tool and plant hire company predominantly supplying the construction industry. Here he held the position of head of product for more than three and a half years.
In 2005, Jonathan’s next role was business development manager at Speedy Hire PLC, where he was a senior member of the corporate development team reporting to the PLC board commercial director responsible for business improvement, strategic development and mergers and acquisitions.
