Call centre operator Kura (CS) is set to create up to 300 new jobs on the Liverpool-Sefton border after securing premises for a call centre.

Royal London Asset Management (RLAM) has agreed the biggest letting so far this year in Liverpool’s out of town office market with the contact centre firm.

It has let the whole of Caspian House, totalling 34,201 sq ft, to the company on a five-year lease.

Caspian House is located in Atlantic Park, close to Switch Island and Dunningsbridge Road.

Kura is a Glasgow-based call centre operator, which has recently won a contract with Scottish Power. It will open its new call centre at Caspian House early next year.

Gareth Dickinson, head of property at RLAM, said: “The fact that the company has chosen Caspian House as the location for its first call centre outside of Scotland is testament to the quality of the offering at the park.

“Caspian House is highly accessible and has excellent amenities on its doorstep, which were important both to Kura and its future employees.”

Ian Steele, director at GVA, which advised RLAM on the letting, added: “As the largest letting in the out of town market this year, this deal also cements Atlantic Park’s position as one of the premier business parks in the region and continues to attract high quality tenants.

“Sefton still remains an attractive location for large-scale employers looking to do business in the North West.”
