Following hot on the heels of popular events Nightgarden and December’s seasonal SnoGarden, which came complete with indoor snow storms, the team at Camp and Furnace have surpassed themselves, launching a brand new event for 2018 – with a totally unique format.
Running every Friday from 7pm until late from 9th February, Friday Night Furnace offers up live music and performance to help event-goers kick the weekend off in style.
Weekly residents, The Furnace House Band, are set to play a mix of modern tracks with their own unique twist and, in participatory fashion, will take suggestions from the audience too.
The main act of the evening, though, is set to be something quite special. Piano Wars will see two baby grand pianos go head-to-head, live!
A concept that’s come direct from the States, the specially customised pianos, complete with neon lights and lasers, will be played by super-talented pianists within an inch of their lives.
Taking requests from the floor, the duelling pianos are sure to see the atmosphere soar.
Speaking about the event, a Camp and Furnace spokesperson said: “Duelling pianos is totally where it’s at for 2018! We’ve spent the summer visiting a number of cities and when we were in the US, this concept blew us away, and we immediately knew it would translate perfectly to Liverpool and to Camp and Furnace.
“We were totally wowed by the expertise of the playing and the spectacle of it all – we know our customers are going to love Friday Night Furnace”
Friday Night Furnace launches at Camp and Furnace on Friday 9th February from 7.00pm and admission is free.
