Renowned North West catering company Carringtons is set to serve a meal ‘fit for a queen’ at The Floral Pavilion this Mother’s Day (March 15).
Devised by Director of Carringtons Catering and Master Chef of Great Britain Darren Wynn, the menu is ideal for families wanting to share an annual celebratory feast at the Wirral based venue.
Darren says:
“Mother’s Day is a special day for spending quality time with the family and celebrating with either a two or three-course dinner is a great way to do it.
“Our menu has a wide variety of dishes to choose from, all specially selected with the finest locally sourced ingredients that have been prepared with great culinary technic.”
To begin their meal, diners can choose from a wide variety of starters including, chicken liver parfait with roast tomato chutney and toasted brioche; tian of prawns with pickled cucumber and brown bloomer, as well as french onion soup with parmesan Croute.
Main dishes include roast loin of pork with an apple cider compote; poached fillet of plaice with prawn mousse, baby onions and braised lettuce and tian of roasted peppers, aubergine and fennel, tomato coulis.
Guests can then indulge in a range of delicious desserts such as sticky toffee pudding with butterscotch sauce and vanilla bean ice cream; dark chocolate torte with clotted cream and poached raspberries and cheese and biscuits with red onion chutney.

The Mother’s Day menu is available at The Floral Pavilion on Sunday, March 15 and is priced at £20.95 for three courses.
Alternatively guests can opt for two courses, which is priced at £16.95 and includes a special Mother’s Day chocolate treat.
