Castle St Townhouse is preparing for its inaugural Christmas celebrations.
The all-day dining and drinking destination, which opened its doors in September, has unveiled a duo of festive menus.
Comprising both a Christmas Lunch and Christmas Evening Dining offering, each menu showcases some of the venue’s most loved dishes and desserts that have been seasonally adapted.
Owner and director of Castle St Townhouse Jason McNeill said:
“Here at Castle St Townhouse we’re certainly looking forward to spending our first festive season in the city’s cosmopolitan postcode. With this in mind, our culinary team have devised a selection of two and three-course menus guaranteed to get Christmas fanatics and Scrooges alike into the holiday spirit.
“Ideal for celebratory business lunches, festive family dinners or just a good old-fashioned get together with friends, each of our menus has been lovingly crafted to offer a nostalgic taste of Christmas, all the while putting our signature contemporary twist on it.”
The Christmas Lunch menu features a selection of starters such as Spiced Parsnip Soup and Pressed Chicken Thigh alongside mains including Turkey Roulade with Brussel Sprouts, Glazed Carrots and Roast Potatoes, Seabass with Cauliflower Cous Cous, Roast Tomato, Kale ad Red Pepper Purée and Lentil Dahl with Aubergine, Spinach Yoghurt and Honey. The dessert menu offers Sticky Date Pudding and Peanut Butter Crème Brulee alongside traditional Cheese and Biscuits.
The Christmas Evening Dining menu comprises starters such as Black Pudding Hash, Gin Cured Salmon and Beetroot with Quinoa. For a main course, guests can opt from dishes such as Lamb Rump with Butternut Squash, Red Onion, Mint and Pea Purée, Confit Duck Leg with Pak Choi, Spring Onion, Sweet Potato and Plum Jus and Rumpette with Celeriac, Green Pepper Sauce, Leek and Straw Potato.
Jason added:
“In a bid to spread the Christmas cheer to both new and familiar faces alike, our festive menus reflect our signature ethos of all day dining, devoted to you. By blurring the lines between social meetings and cocktail nights, our duo of menus will transition smoothly throughout the day as our guests wake, work and play throughout the festive season.”
Christmas will be coming to Castle St Townhouse on Friday, November 25, whereby the venue will be transformed into a cosy winter wonderland. As part of its celebrations the team will be spreading the holiday cheer by showcasing a festive ‘With Love From’ campaign, whereby passers-by will be treated to mince pies and mini Yule logs during their commute to and from work.
The Christmas menus are available from November 25- December 31. For the Christmas Lunch menu, which is served until 5pm, two courses are priced at £14.95 and three courses at £18.95. For the Christmas Evening Dining menu, two courses are priced at £19.95 and three courses at £24.95.
