Check out new service to Czech Airlines Prague

As of May 2015, Czech Airlines will run a twice weekly service to Prague from Liverpool John Lennon Airport.

Liverpool is set to become the airline’s only UK destination as part of a number of new European routes announced by the airline as part of its imminent growth plans.

Flights to the Czech capital will start on May 18, operating year round and leaving on Mondays and Fridays, as Czech Airlines looks to court both leisure and business passengers.

Czech Airlines is the flagship carrier of the Czech Republic and has been in continuous operation since 1923, making it one of the five oldest airlines in existence. Czech Airlines is part of the SkyTeam alliance, which includes the carriers AirFrance, KLM, and Delta Air Lines.

Prague, the largest city in the Czech Republic, has a historic status as one of Europe’s most picturesque and architecturally stunning capitals. Much like Liverpool, the city has a strong cultural background with more than 10 major museums, as well as numerous theatres, galleries, cinemas, and other historical exhibitions.
