City centre gallery marks International Beatles Week with themed exhibition

Castle Fine Art has unveiled a collection of Beatles-themed work to celebrate International Beatle Week, which takes place until Tuesday, August 29. Tony McDonough reports.

Each year, Beatles fans from around the world typically descend on the city to celebrate the beloved band during International Beatle Week.

Castle Fine Art in the Liverpool’s Church Alley has many pieces of art celebrating the band, including works by Pop Art pioneer, James Francis Gill.

The gallery also sells art created by musicians, including Bob Dylan and Ronnie Wood.

Gallery manager, Lucy Edwards, says there are several pieces that may appeal to Beatles fans, some which are exhibited in their Originals Art Event.

Lucy adds: “The team and myself are really excited about meeting Beatles fans from all over the world to the gallery during International Beatle Week.

“We know they’ll love the pieces we have on display, and all our visitors can be sure of a warm welcome from my knowledgeable team.

“We are open from 10am – 6pm from Monday to Friday, and until 5pm on Sunday, so we make an ideal place for fans to visit between the many events on offer.”
