Black Sheep Coffee is opening a new site in Bold Street

Black Sheep Coffee will open a new outlet in Bold Street in Liverpool this week, creating 20 new jobs.

This latest opening at 14-16 Bold Street will add to Black Sheep’s two existing city centre outlets at Liverpool ONE and in Whitechapel. A year ago the brand said it planned to open 11 new coffee shops across Liverpool city region.

This latest venue opens on Friday, October 16, and will offer 96 seats across 3,336 sq ft of space. It will welcome customers throughout the day, opening between 6.30am and 10pm, seven days a week.

Black Sheep says this location is in a “striking heritage building” adding the franchisees were drawn to its original architecture and character. The store will retain some of these features including the exposed brickwork and internal columns.

On offer will be the full Black Sheep Coffee menu, including its 100% specialty-grade Robusta coffee, which naturally contains double the caffeine of Arabica, alongside matcha, freshly made Norwegian waffles, all-day breakfast and bakery items.

Black Sheep plans to open more outlets in Merseyside

This Bold Street opening will be the second Black Sheep Coffee store for the franchisee group, YOLOWAYS, following their first location with the brand in Liverpool ONE.

The franchisees said: “We were really taken with this site from the moment we saw it. Bold Street is such an iconic part of Liverpool, and the building itself has so much character and beautiful heritage architecture.

“We loved the opportunity to bring Black Sheep Coffee into a space like this and create something that feels distinctive while still celebrating the original features of the building.
