Arc 130 in Haydock Industrial Estate an accommodate a building of up to 132,000 sq ft, comprising a 120,000 sq ft warehousing/distribution unit and is being marketed by Colliers. Tony McDonough reports.
Property agents are expecting strong interest in a huge logistics site in Haydock.
Colliers International is marketing the 132,000 sq ft site, next to the East Lancs Road, known as Arc 130.
Acting on behalf of William Fishwick & Son, Colliers industrial and logistics team is offering the eight-acre plot on Haydock Industrial Estate on a design and build basis.
Haydock has established itself as a recognised location for distribution facilities in the North West with other occupiers of the industrial estate including Sainsburys, Booker, CostCo and The Book People.
Arc 130 can accommodate a building of up to 132,000 sq ft, comprising a 120,000 sq ft warehousing/distribution unit plus 12,000 sq ft of offices with yard and car parking.
It is located off Kilbuck Lane and accessible via the A580 East Lancs Road, which is itself within one mile of Junction 23 of the M6.
John Sullivan, director, industrial and logistics at Colliers International in Manchester, said: “Arc 130 sits at the heart of the North West’s road network and offers businesses a rare opportunity to design and build a strategically located distribution hub to service customers throughout the region and further afield.
“The ongoing imbalance between limited availability of such prime sites and rising demand for them from potential occupiers in the region’s revitalised industrial and logistics sector leads us to be confident of attracting a high level of interest in Arc 130.”
