Corporate and commercial law firm Primas Law has opened its first office in Liverpool.

Manchester-based Primas, which also has bases in Cheshire and London, has taken 1,200 sq ft at the Grade I-listed Royal Liver Building with space for 25 staff. Managing partner Adam Kerr will head up the new Liverpool team.

Established by Mr Kerr eight years ago, Primas offers a range of commercial services. These include employment, litigation, construction, insolvency, real estate and mergers and acquisitions.

This latest announcement comes shortly after a flurry of recent hires for the firm across a variety of departments and seniority levels. Mr Kerr said: “We’re really pleased to have delivered on such an ambitious growth strategy so far this year.

“We have new service offerings and multiple new team members highlighting the positive momentum we currently have. But we’re not stopping there. We’ve got really big ambitions for this coming year, and our new home in Liverpool is key to that.

“Liverpool has a very dynamic and entrepreneurial business culture which we think we will be a perfect fit for. Some of the team are born and bred Liverpudlians too, so I know we’ll feel right at home very quickly.”

Founded in 2014, the boutique firm has since grown to a 50 plus-strong team across a multitude of practices. Mr Kerr added: “We’ve got an incredibly exciting future ahead of us. We are all really looking forward to being a part of the Liverpool commercial community.”
