Garry Abrams has recently joined Gregory Abrams Davidson LLP (GAD) as a consultant solicitor in what’s being seen as a coup for the firm locally and nationally.
Based between GAD’s Mathew Street and Penny Lane offices, Mr. Abrams will add considerably to the conveyancing department given his reputation and contacts book within property and particularly the national property auctions market.
His particular interest over the past 15 years has been helping landlords and prospective landlords nationally to establish and build up property portfolios as well as assisting and advising them generally.
He said:
“I work with many builders and developers in this regard along with estate agents, insurance brokers, property professionals and private individual clients. This opportunity for me with GAD is an exciting one and another chapter in a fulfilling career.”
Abrams will also continue his role in “staffing” the legal advice desk at Liverpool auctions held regularly by Sutton Kersh.
He added:
“On auction day, I am always happy to run through a contract with a prospective purchaser and point out any pertinent clauses and possible pitfalls. Many prospective buyers are surprised to learn that once the auction hammer falls and they are the highest bidder, they have entered into a contract to purchase (on the basis of the auction terms and conditions) that they cannot withdraw from! I enjoy the whole process, safeguarding people’s interests.”
