Crabbie’s have signed up as a corporate sponsor for this year’s Liverpool International Tennis Tournament.
Starting this Thursday (18th June), Liverpool Hope University International Tennis Tournament is the latest Liverpool-based sporting event to be sponsored by Crabbie’s.
Following the recent success of The Crabbie’s Grand National, corporate sponsorship is an important contributing factor in bringing money into the city.
Ahead of the tournament, on Wednesday children across the region are going for a Guinness Book of World Records by having the highest number of children being given a tennis lesson – the target to beat is 770 children.
Peter Eaton, Deputy Chairman at Halewood International said:
“Crabbie’s is again delighted to be supporting the Liverpool Hope University International Tennis Tournament.
“The festival of Tennis is a fantastic opportunity to support the local community and provides a wonderful showcase for the city of Liverpool. Our involvement sits perfectly alongside our sponsorship of the Crabbie’s Grand National Festival, our involvement with Help for Heroes and adds another world-class spectacle to our portfolio of sporting events.”
Weather indications for the weekend show that it could be excellent weather for the tournament and revellers will be sure to enjoy a cold Crabbie’s in the warm weather, at the beautiful location of Liverpool Cricket Club.
Also playing their part to keep players hydrated, Crabbie’s will be keeping players hydrated during the tournament with their Willow water brand – from the Lake District.
Tickets are still available for the tournament through www.liverpooltennis.co.uk or by calling 07950 260 165.
