Developer secures consent for 177 new apartments in north Liverpool

Fast Growth Homes scheme will see two connected buildings of five and six storeys comprising 177 apartments

 

Developer Fast Growth Homes has secured planning consent for a new development in north Liverpool that will comprise 177 apartments.

Designed by architects at Falconer Chester Hall, the scheme will see two connected buildings of five and six storeys established on a site bounded to the south by the Kirkdale Road/Great Homer Street junction, close to the city centre.

The development will see two connected buildings of five and six storeys established on a site bounded to the south by the Kirkdale Road/Great Homer Street junction.

As well as the mix of 18 studios, 69 one and 90 two-bedroom apartments, the development will also include commercial space on the ground floor, a communal courtyard garden area at the first-floor level and a residents’ gym.

“This development builds on regeneration already happening in the area, reinstating activity and the historic scale on one of Liverpool’s great roads. The city council deserve much credit for encouraging this form and quality of development,” said Alastair Shepherd, director at Falconer Chester Hall.

Fast Growth Homes is a development company based in Liverpool. Its currently has multiple projects in the pipeline including two hotel schemes adjacent to Liverpool Waters and a further waterfront development of 200 apartments.
