Grosvenor Homes Heswall aims to build a four-storey development in Heswall

A developer is planning a new residential scheme in Wirral that will provide 12 “high-end” luxury apartments.

Liverpool architects Falconer Chester Hall (FCH) have submitted a planning application to Wirral Council for the four-storey scheme at Thurstaston Road, Heswall on behalf of Grosvenor Homes Heswall.

Each of the 12 apartments will have three bedrooms and the development will offer views across the Dee Estuary to North Wales. Martin Haymes, associate director at FCH, said: “We have consulted with the planning team over a number of months and are delighted to have submitted our design for planning permission.

“The proposed development is within a traditional landscape which influenced the material palette that we propose, including red sandstone and rosemary clay roof tiles, both indigenous local materials. The generous balconies provide private amenity space and views to the landscaped gardens.

Grosvenor Homes Heswall added, “We have seen the potential on Thurstaston Road and the requirements of the area to provide a well-balanced, innovative, high-quality residential development.

“We have ensured that each luxury apartment is provided with two car parking spaces on-site and the new landscaping will be integrated and weaved homogenously with the retained trees and hedges.”

Other consultants on the scheme, include planning consultants, Zerum; highways consultant, SCP Transport; M&E engineer, Abacus Consulting; fire engineer, Omega Fire; engineering landscape architect, DEP Landscape Architects; ecology, Rachel Hacking Ecology; ground conditions, Clancy Consulting; tree surveyor, Trees Solutions.
