Developers Nexus Residential and Legacie Developments complete £12m residential scheme in north Liverpool close to Everton FC’s new stadium. Tony McDonough reports
A £12m residential scheme just a few streets away from Everton FC’s new stadium is now complete.
Nexus Residential and Legacie Developments are offering 78 one and two-bedroom apartments at City Residence in Lemon Street in Kirkdale. Upper floors have views of the Mersey and the new Everton stadium Bramley-Moore Dock.
Institutional lender Together, which has worked with Nexus and Legacie on other development projects, provided £10m to help finance the scheme. International sales agent, RWInvest successfully pre-sold all new homes off-plan.
Michael Gledhill, managing director of Nexus, said: “It is fantastic the homes on Lemon Street are already fully occupied and this development perfectly illustrates how the Liverpool rental market remains incredibly strong.
