Liverpool-based business lobbying and networking organisation, Downtown in Business, has announced a new partnership with architects Brock Carmichael.

The collaboration will see Brock Carmichael become the latest organisation to become a corporate sponsor of Downtown, which also operates in a number of other locations, including Manchester, Preston and London.

Downtown chief executive Frank McKenna, said: “We are delighted to have Brock Carmichael on board as corporate sponsors of DIB. Their reputation is first class and, like us, they are a Liverpool-based company with a national presence and it will be great to work with Chris Bolland and his team.

“They have a very strong brand across the Northwest region, but in more recent times they have secured work nationally and internationally. This new partnership will enable Brock Carmichael to accelerate its growth and raise the company’s profile at a national level.”

Brock Carmichael joins a host of others from the property sector who have partnership agreements in place with DIB, including Bruntwood, Laing O Rourke, Project 4, Shape Engineering and Sutcliffe.

Chris Bolland, managing partner at Brock Carmichael, added: “Clearly we have an interest in contributing to the discussion and debate about how the Liverpool City Region will react and recover post-COVID19 and this partnership with DIB offers the opportunity of having a louder voice in that space.

“Equally, our growth ambitions are significant. DIB will enable Brock Carmichael to engage with other cities across the country. The association makes sense for us. Like Brock Carmichael, DIB shares a vision of exciting, dynamic and thriving cities.”
