Liverpool BID Company is holding a Twitter Q&A for businesses

Liverpool BID Company is holding a Twitter Q&A on Friday, March 27, to help businesses get a better understanding of what support is available during the coronavirus crisis.

The BID represents more than 1,500 businesses in Liverpool city centre and says there is still much confusion about what help is available from the Government. Currently most popular search terms on its website are ‘business support available’, ‘crime prevention advice’ and ‘working from home advice’.

Between 1pm and 2pm a panel of experts will be available to answer business-related questions. They can be submitted via Twitter using #AskLiverpoolBID and via email info@liverpoolbidcompany.com and they will be answered during the hour. The panel includes:

  • Bill Addy, chief executive of Liverpool BID Company, providing a national overview of support.
  • Keith Tully from Begbies Traynor, specialising in business support.
  • Shaun Holland from Liverpool BID Company focusing on operations.
  • Troy Johnson from Griffiths and Armour on insurance.

The BID Company said: “A lot of announcements have been made in a short period of time, and many firms, large and small, have been focused on securing the immediate future, for both themselves and their employees. There is support available, navigating it might need a little help.

It is our day-to-day job to provide a platform and a voice for business. We work with businesses across sectors, including professional services, creative and digital, retail, leisure and hospitality, so we have a broad spectrum of experience to draw on.
