The Festive Group is now producing protective screens for businesses

A Liverpool firm that usually specialises in creating Christmas installations for businesses is also now producing a range of protective screens for when the UK starts to emerge from lockdown.

If, as expected, more businesses start to open in the next few weeks there will still be the need for keeping person-to-person contact to a minimum in a bid to minimise the risk of a second wave of coronavirus infections.

This presents a logistical challenge for businesses who want to resume trading but want to make sure they offer as much protection as possible to customer and employees.

Now the Festive Group has responded to the challenge by developing a new range of protective screens. The units, produced in association with the group’s fabrication partners in Spain, come in a variety of sizes and specifications  and can be personalised with company logos and branding.

How the Festive Group screens could look in an office environment

Head of Operations, Paul Lally, said: “Our usual spring and summer events season has been massively affected by the current situation and so we have used our experience in bespoke fabrication to come up with a whole range of screen options at very affordable prices.

“A lot of clients were asking us to help them protect both customers and employees during the crisis and if current advice is anything to go by we can see these kind of protective measures lasting way beyond lock down.”

The screens can be adapted to suit a myriad of public spaces from shops and service stations to larger public spaces and workplaces. Mr Lally added: “We think protective screens will become part of everyday life. We wanted to try to make them as attractive and affordable as possible and we are proud to be driving this initiative from our base here on Merseyside.”
