Leading retailer Argos has opened its very first digital concept store on Liverpool ONE’s South John Street.
As around 40 per cent of Argos’ sales are now completed via digital means, the new 3,089 sq ft store has replaced all of its regular print catalogues with iPads.
The store also offers 60-second service for items ordered and paid for online or through mobile.
Miles Dunnett, head of asset management at Liverpool One owner Grosvenor Liverpool Fund, said:
“We are committed to bringing new concepts from leading brands to Liverpool One, of which Argos is a prime example.
“The brand’s new store is innovative in its embracing of how consumers are using technology. This proactive move to reflect a key change in consumer behaviour resonates with our own approach in all we do.”
This revolutionary retail experience is the first of many for Argos.
