City agents Worthington Owen have been appointed to oversee lettings of luxury Liverpool office space, as £3.5m refurbishment of iconic Port of Liverpool Building nears completion. Tony McDonough reports.
The refurbishment, led by Blossom Tree Group encompasses approximately 25,000 sq. ft. of space and will offer suites ranging from 488 sq. ft. to 10,000 sq. ft, as well as modern and spacious meeting rooms and breakout areas.The Port of Liverpool Building is Grade 2* listed and the oldest of Liverpool’s renowned Three Graces.
Constructed in the early 20th century as the headquarters for the Mersey Docks and Harbour Board, it now stands as a testament to Liverpool’s maritime history.
Today, the 160,000 sq. ft. building is home to leading Liverpool-based businesses, such as Rathbones, Forresters, Kuerne & Nagel, Ocean Network, DHL, and Ion Developments.

Project managers Blossom Tree will also oversee the daily management of the building.
Known for their work on other heritage buildings, Blossom Tree say they approached the Port of Liverpool project with meticulous care to integrate modern amenities whilst preserving the buildings historical essence.
