Formby Hall Golf Resort and Spa has unveiled a new look, giving guests a chance to experience for themselves the results of a £2.4million refurbishment.
To mark the completion of the improvements, which are now fully up and running and open to the public, Formby Hall hosted a launch event for more than 150 invited guests.
The four-star resort celebrated its relaunch after months of improvements, including to the golfing facilities, bedrooms and spa and health club.
Guests celebrated with a champagne and cocktail reception, before being entertained with live music from Manchester trio the Gypsies of Bohemia..
After a terrace BBQ, guests were given preview tours to see what the new look Formby Hall has to offer, including the individually designed bedrooms and additional loft rooms, state of the art gym and leisure facilities.
The hotel’s restaurant, The Fairway Grill, has also been revamped as part of the major investment and now boasts new décor and a speciality grill menu, featuring locally-sourced ingredients.
Andrew Pyle, general manager at Formby Hall, said: ‘We’re really delighted that all the work is now completed and excited to be able to reveal what we’ve achieved over the past few months.
‘The response we’ve received so far has been really positive, and we appreciate all the support and patience our guests have shown while the refurbishment has been taking place. We’re sure they’ll agree it’s been well worth it and hope they’ll enjoy making the most of everything we’ve done.’
