Global logistics venture Lean Supply Solutions (LSS) has agreed to occupy a 47,462 sq ft warehouse at Estuary Business Park, Speke, Liverpool.

LSS, which is based in Canada, will occupy Hurricane 47, employing 20 people. Agents at LM6 secured the letting acting on behalf of Kukoon Rugs. This unit was completed in 2019.

A privately owned business, LSS offers logistics services for a “large and diverse” base of multinational, regional, and local companies.

Phil Morley, director at LM6, said: “This latest letting on the estate, together with the adjoining 52,500 sqft unit, reflects continued and positive occupier demand in south Liverpool.

“There is dearth of available industrial/distribution facilities in the wider city region and we were pleased to have sourced a letting of the unit within four months of marketing in what continues to be a resilient market sector.

“However, as the ‘cost of living crisis’ continues to bite it will be interesting to see If these effects will alter market sentiment over the coming months.”

There is significant demand for logistics and warehouse space in Liverpool city region and across the North West. This demand is expected to intensify in the next few years following the launch of the LCR Freeport earlier this year.

LM6 was retained as sole agent. LSS was represented by CBRE.
