Graffiti Spirits Group is opening Slim’s in Liverpool’s Bold Street

Graffiti Spirits Group, the company behind a string of Liverpool’s most popular independent restaurants and bars, has announced the portfolio’s latest venture Slim’s, which will open on Bold Street in a matter of weeks.

The award-winning group has acquired the former Love Thy Neighbour site and will transform the venue into a new all day eatery. Taking inspiration from high-end New York diners, Slim’s will have a varied menu that will provide something for everyone, including a delicious vegetarian and vegan offering.

Menu staples will include the delicious award-winning roast dinners served in metal trays and classic American-style burgers. The restaurant will also be home to a downstairs sports bar that will show popular sports channels and games.

Graffiti Spirits Group co-founder Matt Farrell, said: “We couldn’t be happier that Slim’s will be opening in a matter of weeks and on Bold Street, which is famous for being a hub of independent, unique restaurant and bars. It will be the perfect addition with an impressive menu that will cater for all tastes.

“We’ve given the menu for Slim’s a lot of thought and taken elements from projects that we have previously learnt from. The restaurant’s offering will have something for everyone including delicious burgers, both meat and vegan, to our renowned roast dinners.”

Graffiti Spirits Group is celebrating 10 years in business. It opened its first venue Santa Chupitos ten years ago, and since then has created numerous concepts across the city centre which have become must-visit venues.

When starting out ten years ago, having worked in the hospitality industry since their teens, founders Matt Farrell and John Ennis really believed that the city’s bar scene was missing something and that it was quite behind in terms of nearby cities including Manchester and Leeds.

Fast-forward ten years, and Liverpool has soared, along with Graffiti Spirits Group’s seven other venues including; underground tequileria El Bandito, steins and brines specialist Salt Dog Slims, speakeasy cocktail bar 81 Ltd, pizza rodizio Santa Maluco, popular cafe Bold Street Coffee and the now permanent Castle Street Coffee, plus the newly opened Duke Street Market.
