Tattan & Gregson, which also has stores in London and Los Angeles, has agreed a five-year deal on space at Yorkshire House in Chapel Street. Tony McDonough reports
An exclusive boutique tailors with stores in London and Los Angeles is moving into a new home in Liverpool’s commercial district.
Tattan & Gregson, which specialises in crafting high-end custom menswear and accessories, is leaving the Plaza in St St Paul’s Square and relocating to Yorkshire House in Chapel Street.
Yorkshire House owner, Millfield Estates, has secured a five-year lease with the business on a refurbished 882 sq ft ground floor office space, worth £66,500 over the course of the tenancy, keeping them in Liverpool until at least 2024.
Yorkshire House has also seen two long-term tenants – PR agency Jayne Moore Media and FMG Consultancy – sign lease renewals at the property over the past month, worth a combined £70,000 a year.
Paul Dobson, property director for Millfield Estates, said: “Our commitment to refurbishing and renovating Yorkshire House has been a fundamental part of our ownership which has facilitated the letting to Tattan & Gregson’s tenancy agreement. We’re overjoyed to entice this exciting new operator to the ground floor suite.
“We are also very happy to have maintained the tenant line up at Yorkshire House by securing the ongoing occupation of two of our existing tenants.
“We pride ourselves on the relationships we have with our tenants and it testament to our team that we continue to retain a high-amount of our tenants. The combination of high quality accommodation with a location at the heart of Liverpool’s bustling business district creates an environment where tenants are willing to commit their futures with us for a prolonged period of time.”
