Hit Search is delighted to announce the two latest additions to their growing team: Kit Garrett and Sarah Wharton.
Joining as an SEO executive, Kit brings 8 years of client and agency side experience. His career has seen him working as a freelancer for Trinity Mirror Group and most recently as head of digital for Liverpool start up Lawyerly. With so many highlights it’s hard to pick just one, but Kit says his biggest achievement is taking a start up from zero to 2,000 unique views per week through conversion optimisation and SEO.
On his move to Hit Search, Kit says:
“I’m looking forward to helping out our clients any way I can, and bringing some of my less conventional experience to the table.”
Sarah joins the team as content and press executive and brings 5 years experience from online retail giant Shop Direct and entertainment PR agency, Fetch Publicity. She has a passion for writing and says her career highlights to date are getting low budget horror films trending with successful Twitter hashtag events such as #PactParty and #dontdrinkTheBay.
For Sarah, the move to Hit Search represents an opportunity for her to combine her writing skills with her PR background. She says:
“I’m excited to get started and get stuck in with the amazing projects Hit Search has lined up for 2015.”
These acquisitions once again demonstrate Hit Search’s commitment to an enthusiastic, talented and creative workforce and the ever growing team means that 2015 will be a year to watch.
In the meantime, though, here are a few facts about Kit and Sarah:
- In Kit’s spare time he makes short movies with his friends, taking care of scripting and occasionally appearing on camera.
- He also runs a blog which talks about fashion and user-developed technology in virtual worlds and video games.
- Sarah is a big horror fan and has had to exert massive self-control not to geek out (her words) when working on PR campaigns at Film4 FrightFest with filmmakers Don Mancini and Gareth Evans.
- She’s also a complete bookworm and runs a blog where she writes about her favourite books and other reading-related topics.
