More than 20 major hotels from across the city have benefited from WorldHost training throughout the International Festival for Business.
Member of Liverpool Hoteliers Association and GM of Holiday Inn Express Albert Dock, Helen Roberts, believes that as a result of the comprehensive hospitality-focused customer service training, delegate rapport and satisfaction has been increased.
As part of the impeccable customer service to business guests, welcome packs and information guides are continuously been given out – in order to inform associates of the special events that are being held throughout the city.
Helen said:
“Hundreds of local hotels have prospered from this fantastic training package accredited by People1st and delivered by industry specialists Mooreskills – Holiday Inn Express Albert Dock being one of them. Around 30 out of our 46-team members participated in the unique training package, and found it to be hugely valuable.
“Not only have staff members acquired delegate-tailored customer service tips, many of the participants also undertook multi-lingual language courses. By doing to they were able to learn basic phrases and develop their meet-and-greet skills in a number of different languages.”
In addition to the IFB, Liverpool will also host a number of international events including the Open Golf Championship, the Liverpool International Music Festival and Liverpool Biennial. It is estimated that the events will bring an additional 2.5 million visitors to the region; therefore the WorldHost training can be transferred to ensure that all visitors leave with a lasting impression of the city.
Director of Mooreskills Sara Challinor commented:
“It has been an absolute pleasure to be involved in delivering WorldHost across the City. The Liverpool Hoteliers have been fantastic to work with and have fully embraced this training. We are passionate about supporting customer excellence and are delighted to have supported so many of our local Hoteliers to become Worldhost recognised destinations.”
Helen added:
“The WorldHost training has certainly made a positive impact when it comes to delivering a superb bespoke service to our corporate guests.
“As a result of the diverse range of forthcoming multi-international events that will take part across the city, the hospitality sector will certainly thrive.”
