Liverpool and Wirral law firm Jackson Lees Group has announced new recruits to the business.
Katy Smith, Georgia Drohan, Abbie Harrison, Laura Porter and Shea Carson are all beginning legal training contracts while the family team has taken on qualified solicitor Ben dale.
Ben began his career journey in 2016 as an adviser at the University of Liverpool’s Law Clinic while studying for his degree. He trained and qualified at Berkson Family Law Solicitors and has developed specialisms in divorce and financial separation matters.
“I am looking forward to continuing to build trust with clients and help guide them through some of their most difficult times. The opportunity to work with the wide client base and experienced team at Jackson Lees is extremely exciting,” he said.
Ben’s arrival at Jackson Lees follows that of Sarah McCarthy in September. She has now been appointed as head of the private family team.
Haley Farrell, deputy managing director at Jackson Lees Group said the hiring of Ben and the Jackson five trainees “demonstrate our commitment to developing the next generation of legal professionals”.
She added: “Ben is a welcome addition to our ranks. His experience will enable us to continue to meet the needs of our clients, ensuring they receive the highest level of service and support. We look forward to seeing him develop his career with us.”
Jackson Lees Group includes Broudie Jackson Canter and Farrington Law and turns over more than £14m a year. It is owned by Wirral-based MAPD Ventures. In July LBN revealed the £38m-turnover business was seeking private equity backing.
