Jet2holidays to offer new destination from Liverpool

Jet2holidays has announced a new summer package holiday destination from Liverpool John Lennon Airport (LJLA).

From the summer 2025 season Jet2holidays will offer holidays in the Costa de la Luz in Spain via Faro Airport in Portugal. Costa de la Luz, which means ‘Coast of Light’ is just across the Portuguese-Spanish border and is part of the Andalusia region.

Holidaymakers will be able to choose from a range of hotels across the four resorts of Punta Umbria, Isla Canela, Isla Cristina and El Rompido. Known for its golden sandy beaches, Cost de la Luz stretches along the Atlantic from Tarifa to the Portuguese border.

This region is made up of seaside towns and “vibrant cultural experiences”, as well as natural parks, historic cities such as Cadiz and Huelva, and golf courses.

A package holiday with Jet2holidays includes VIP customer service, transfers to and from the airport and ATOL protection and a 22kg baggage allowance with jet2.com for £60 per person deposit.
