Mersey digital entrepreneur Jody Riley is in discussions that could take her mobile beauty booking app to London.

Ms Riley, founder of PamperBook, told YBNews of her expansion plans as she launched a new piece of software for her clients.

Her business was launched as Just Bella around two years ago and late last year was rebranded as PamperBook.

The venture allows people to quickly book hair, beauty, health, body and fitness treatments online and to date has signed up more than 320 businesses in Merseyside and across the North West.

Ms Riley has also expanded the business to offer fashion and beauty products.

Now she is making a new piece of software available to customers which will allow them to manage bookings independent of the PamperBook site.

Once downloaded salon owners, and mobile sole traders, can use it to take and managing bookings – dispensing with paper diaries and reducing the number of bookings that need to be taken over the phone.

“This is the latest software for salon scheduling and it means PamperBook is more than just a booking platform. It can help you manage your whole business,” Ms Riley said.

“It just deals with everything and can automatically run your booking system day-to-day.”

Based out of the Women’s Organisation, just outside Liverpool city centre, PamperBook employs six people but Ms Riley has been eyeing expansion for some time.

She added: “There is a company in London interested in what we are doing so we have been talking to them in recent months.

“Obviously the beauty business down there is huge so we are hopeful we will make that happen.”
