John Turner Construction to build tattoo supplier’s Liverpool HQ in £2m deal

Construction firm John Turner has secured a £2m contract to build a new South Liverpool warehouse and headquarters for the leading supplier of tattoo equipment in Europe.

John Turner Construction will build a single-storey distribution warehouse along with a two storey office building and external works for the company at Venture Point in Speke. Due for completion later this year the project will comprise:

A 4,000 sq ft office building incorporating meeting rooms, server and plant areas, reception leading to a lift and staircase, staff welfare and changing facilities, open plan offices and a boardroom

A 20,000 sq ft high bay bulk warehouse comprising goods in/out with roller shutters, staging area, vehicle charging points, glazed screen warehouse manager’s office and general offices  along with the installation of warehouse equipment and racking

External works including barrier controlled access to a hard standing HGV turning circle, creation of access roads, car parking spaces and landscaping along with utility infrastructure

Employing around 200 people, the John Turner Construction Group is a £76m-turnover business, operating across the North West with offices in Liverpool, Preston and Manchester.

It was established since 1907 and now includes divisions covering construction, maintenance, joinery manufacturing and electrical services.
