UTV Media (GB)’s popular Liverpool radio station, Juice FM has appointed a new content director in James Brownlow.
Mr Brownlow’s previous job credits include a position as programme director at stations such as Galaxy Manchester & North East, XFM, Manchester and London’s 95.8 Capital FM. He will be responsible for all programming and talent, both on air and across the station’s digital platforms.
Mr Brownlow has also had experience being self-employed as a media consultant and entrepreneur.
He said:
“There is something very special happening with this radio station. It really does stand out as a destination for the best music and entertainment in this city, and beyond.
“After spending lots of time with the team at UTV Media, whose ambitions for Juice as a station and brand are extremely exciting, it really was something I just felt I had to be a part of.”
Terry Underhill, group programme director for UTV Media (GB), added:
“We have some really exciting plans for Juice FM in Liverpool and with James’ outstanding track record in UK radio we’re delighted he’s joining us to help take the station to the next level.”
