Accountancy firm KPMG has announced a wave of promotions at both its Liverpool and Manchester offices
Accountancy firm KPMG has announced a number of promotions at its Liverpool office.
It has promoted Annelies Muys-Mannino and Jon Garritty to directors in its audit and consulting teams. They form part of a bigger wave of promotions in its Liverpool office, with 11 other members of staff promoted.
In Manchester KPMG it has promoted Laura Smart to associate partner, where she will lead its Corporate Tax Compliance Centre of Excellence, as well as five directors.
It has also promoted Jill Hilton to business development manager, leading the firm’s Emerging Giants programme across the North West, including its partnership with the Growth Company on the Global Scale-up programme.
Jennifer Lee, office senior partner at KPMG in Liverpool, said: “Our staff have been the bedrock of our success in the past 12 months, supporting our clients in testing circumstances. These promotions are testament to their hard work and commitment.
“With the recent freeports success and our thriving community of SMEs, Liverpool will be a hotbed of innovation, investment and M&A activity in the years ahead. We’ll be at the forefront, advising businesses how best to leverage the region’s potential for growth. By investing in our people, we’re investing in the wider success of the city region.
“While we know the city’s business community is not out of the shadow of the pandemic just yet, our staff will continue to support them every step of the way as they negotiate the challenges posed in the months ahead and make the most of the opportunities to grow beyond that.”
