Next Monday is the last chance for people to experience Sound Bath on a Boat – an immersive ‘sound-healing practice’ – taking place on the Daffodil on Liverpool waterfront. Tony McDonough reports
People looking for a session of calm just before Christmas have one more chance to experience the Sound Bath on a Boat taking place on the Daffodil on Liverpool waterfront.
Sound Bath on a Boat is a concept devised by well known Liverpool wellbeing practitioner Geniene Azalea, founder of Science of Sound CIC. Her six-weeks of session have been taking place on the former ferry, now a restaurant in Canning Dock.
Supported with funding from the National Lottery, the sessions blend ancient sound-healing practice, with hypnosis, alongside the raw, industrial soul of the boat’s historic engine room, creating a rare, atmospheric space where people can recalibrate, release, and reconnect.
These sessions are donation-only, removing financial barriers and opening the doors to anyone seeking peace, grounding, or emotional restoration. The final one takes place at 6pm on Monday, December 15.
Geniene describes the sessions as “a bridge between the city’s heart and its hidden currents, a place where people can breathe again, soften again, and remember who they are”.
Participants are guided through hypnotic sound journeys using crystal bowls, gongs, therapeutic frequencies, and immersive storytelling ,all amplified by the natural acoustics of the engine room.
Each session is designed to help release stress, soothe the nervous system, and awaken deeper clarity and intuition. Click here to book.
