Pure Business Group has taken an entire floor of 9,500 sq ft at No 8 Princes Dock to add to its existing bases in Prescot and York as it embarks on a major expansion drive. Tony McDonough reports
Legal services provider Pure Business Group has agreed to take a whole floor of office space at Liverpool’s Princes Dock in a major expansion drive.
The firm, which comprises two law firms, costs drafting and recovery, litigation funding provision and claims management operations, is taking 9,500 sq ft at No 8 Princes Dock, part of Peel Group’s Liverpool Waters scheme, for its new headquarters.
Pure also includes a division offering claims handling services to the insurance industry as well as a sports management businesses.
The new office, which it has taken on a 10-year lease, adds to its existing bases in Prescot and York and the business is aiming for a total headcount of more than 300 people during the financial year.
Pure joins wealth management firm Elite Synergy which has also signed a 10-year lease at No 8 Princes Dock which is already home to Savills, KPMG and Pricewaterhouse Coopers.
Phil Hodgkinson, chief executive of Pure, said: “We’re growing our business and we needed a move that not only allows us to invest in our people but also gives us access to a new client base, and talent pool.
“We looked at a lot of places but nothing could match the magnificent setting here at Liverpool Waters, whilst also providing us with the top-quality office space that we need to continue our expansion.”
Liverpool Waters is owned by property giant Peel. Asset manager Liza Marco said: “This is the latest in a series of lettings we have secured this year and shows the appeal of Princes Dock at Liverpool Waters.”
The Liverpool Waters team were advised by CBRE for both transactions.
