Liverpool agency grows its team

Agent Marketing, a Liverpool-based full service marketing agency, has marked its tenth birthday by taking on two new recruits. This is the latest act in what has already been a year of ramping up operations and expanding the scope of the agency.

David Lancaster, a Shillington College graduate, has been recruited as Agent’s new creative consultant. With years of industry experience, David will be enhancing the offering of Agent’s creative team, focusing on graphic design and brand development.

Also joining the team is Laura Rietdyk-Johnson as a campaigns executive. Laura came to the attention of the team after her involvement with Agent Academy CIC, a social enterprise led by Agent that offers a free twelve-week course in values-led marketing. After impressing the Agent team with her dedication and fresh approach to marketing, she has become the first Agent Academy graduate to secure a full-time position on the Agent team.

Paul Corcoran, managing director of Agent Marketing, said:

“This is a tremendously exciting year for Agent and we’re very proud of what we have achieved over the past 10 years. The team is such a vital part of making Agent what it is and we looked long and hard for the right people to join us and help Agent to continue to grow and develop.

“I’m looking forward to working with David and Laura, and having them on board to take Agent to its next level. 2016 has already been such an incredible year for the team and I; we’re all really excited about the new directions that we’re going to push Agent and Agent Academy CIC in over the next year.”

David Lancaster, creative consultant at Agent Marketing, said:

“I’m really enthusiastic about starting here at Agent, and looking forward to getting involved in all kinds of forward-thinking creative projects.

“It’s a great space and a great team, and I’m really enjoying working on some really dynamic campaigns. A lot of the work is based around brilliant initiatives, social enterprises, and positive, community-driven companies, so the work is really fulfilling.”

Agent has already had a memorable tenth year: Paul Corcoran, managing director, was recently named ‘Leader of the Year’ at the 2016 Guardian Sustainable Business Awards. Agent will celebrate its birthday by hosting ten public events over the next twelve months.
