Liverpool businesswoman and author Angela Preston is set to launch her second book later this month – The Keys to Success in Business.
The book is a follow-up to her first publication, Opening Doors, which was an account of her growing up in Liverpool in the 1970s and 80s.
The Keys to Success in Business outlines the 10 keys she used to achieve success and the strategies she put in place.
Angela runs AP Coaching and Mentoring Services which offers one-to-one coaching and mentoring to individuals, as well as groups via workshops in areas such as self-esteem, confidence, motivation and leadership.
She is also a regular guest on both radio and TV and recently shared her expertise in a TV interview and book launch with C-Suite Network as part of Best Seller TV in New York.
Angela also has 20 years experience in sales and leadership as a top performing strategic manager prior to becoming a speaker/coach.
She believes we all have it within us to achieve the ultimate and become great at being us, turning the impossible into the possible.
She said: “The book will give the reader the keys I used in my quest for success not just in my career but also in my personal life.
“There are 10 keys I used to achieve the ultimate and become a published author as well as a stand up comic, among others.”
Angela will be holding a launch event for the book at Cheeky Jacks in Renshaw Street, Liverpool, on Friday, January 27.
The event will also be raising funds for two charities that are very close to her heart.
OLLY (Our Lost Love Years) is a children’s charity set up to support children who have lost loved ones to murder, and also supports youngsters from deprived backgrounds.
The second charity is Betterdays, a domestic violence shelter set up to house women and children.
It has room for 10 women and their children, and provides safety and education on how to change their path as well as provide them with support in finding a new home, financial needs, health and wellbeing and counselling.
