A Liverpool digital business that offers cloud services to small and medium-sized firms is expanding into the US.
IT Answers is opening an office in Richmond, Virginia the firm will focus on bringing its Skyline Desktop product to an increasingly mobile workforce.
IT Answers has established a niche presence within the UK, working largely with SMEs and offers a cloud-based product that enables users to access their desktop, including all files and programmes, from any internet-connected device remotely.
Developed to be flexible enough to meet the needs of each business requirement it is a pay-per-user, scalable subscription service backed up by round-the-clock customer support.
Having developed and consolidated its UK presence, the firm is set to replicate its successful model, launching a US operation where owners have identified significant opportunities in the SME market place.
Managing director, Andrew Hilton said: “We’ve been amazed by the uptake of Skyline Desktop in the UK, with an ever increasing number of SMEs subscribing to the product in the past four years.
“The feedback we have received so far has been very positive. This led us to establishing links and partnerships in the US and our research has found huge potential.”
IT Answers has entered a partnership with QTS, the largest datacenter provider in the US, which will immediately open doors to an existing customer base.
