Liverpool-based DTM Legal grows team with new appointments and promotions

Law firm DTM Legal, which has offices in Liverpool and Chester, has strengthened its core team with a number of key promotions and appointments.

Associate Amanda Bailey joins DTM Legal from Knights law firm in Chester where she specialised in wills, trusts and tax planning. Amanda brings a wealth of experience to the company with particular expertise advising business owners in relation to succession planning.

Amanda will work in the Chester office, using her strong background advising on domicile issues, estate administration and powers of attorney to bolster DTM’s corporate and commercial and private client offering.

The firm has also promoted two members of staff including an associate and a trainee.

Sally Pilott, who was previously an associate, has been promoted to a Partner at DTM Legal. Sally is an experienced legal professional specialising in sales and acquisitions, commercial landlord and tenant and portfolio management.

Sally has been recognised in 2016’s Legal 500 and played a key role advising Liverpool-based investment and development group, Atmore on the sale of 44 properties, raising £20m.

Oliver Andrews, who is currently a trainee with DTM Legal, will permanently join the company’s property department upon his qualification in mid-January. Oliver will be working in the firm’s Liverpool office.
